Perfect Meatballs

These meatballs are great in so many ways. Add them to your pasta dishes, cover them with BBQ sauce, eat them cold for a protein packed lunch, or add them to a green salad!
Ingredients
- (2 lbs) Ground Beef
- (2) Eggs
- (1 cup) tomato sauce
- (1 cup) bread crumbs
- (1 tsp) salt
- (1 tsp) pepper
- (1 tsp) garlic powder
- (1/2 tsp) onion - chopped
- (1 T) mustard
- (1 tsp) Italian seasoning
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together by hand and form into 1 inch balls.
- Drizzle a little olive oil in a cast iron skillet (if not using cast iron, make sure skillet is oven safe).
- Place meatballs in hot skillet and brown for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once browned, move the skillet into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until no longer pink.
* For BBQ meatballs: cover meatballs with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of cook time. Sauce will be sticky and yummy!
