Tacos are the perfect small quick meal and they also work great to feed a hungry crowd of cowboys. Peyton loves Mexican food and these tacos are a constant request. Layer them up with all your favorite toppings!
Ingredients
- (1 lb) Ground Beef
- (1 T) Chili Powder
- (1 t) Ground Cumin
- (1 t) Garlic Powder
- (1 t) Paprika
- (1/2 t) Onion Powder
- (1/2 t) Dried Oregano
- (1/2 t) Salt
- (1/2 t) Pepper
- (1/2 t) Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- (2 T) Flour
- (2 T) Beef Broth
Directions
- Mix the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a mason jar.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet until almost cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the taco seasoning over the beef. Stir the spices into the beef and let cook for about a minutes to fully season the meat.
- In a small bowl mix the flour and beef broth until smooth.
- Pour the flour mixture over the beef. Stir until the mixture thickens.
- Serve on a flour tortilla with shredded lettuce, sour cream, salsa, and sliced avocado.
This taco seasoning is also great for a steak seasoning, on grilled chicken, or even fish!
